Empowering Research Through Joint Activities

These joint activities are designed to foster collaboration, boost skills, and drive cutting-edge research across borders and disciplines. PCPSCE has planned the following activities over the next four years:

3 Conferences | 3 Summer Training Schools | 3 DH-Training Schools

All events will rotate across Action countries, with a special focus on Inclusiveness Target Countries (ITCs)—and every event will be available in a hybrid format to ensure maximum accessibility!

Springing into Action: Annual Conferences

Each Action year kicks off with a Spring Conference, hosted by one of our specialised Working Groups. These conferences dive deep into topics aligned with the WG’s objectives, starting with WG 3 “Public and Legal Spheres” and wrapping up with WG 5 “Text and Ideas”.

Summer Training Schools: Expanding one’s Horizons

Mid-year, PCPSCE organizes Summer Training Schools, tailored for Young Researchers and Innovators (YRIs) from within and beyond the Action.

Co-organised by two WGs, these schools focus on:

  • Data Collection & Methods
  • Theory & Analysis
  • Innovative Concepts & Methodologies

Interdisciplinarity is at the core, fostering cross-group collaboration and fresh perspectives!

DH-Training Schools: Sharpening one’s Skills

The Action year concludes with a DH-Training School led by WG 2 “Data and Tools”. Open to PCPSCE members from all disciplines, these sessions will enhance methodological and practical competencies in using diverse Digital Humanities (DH) resources.

Grants & Opportunities: Take Your Research Further!

Beyond these joint events, PCPSCE members can apply for individual grants to support your research journey:

Collaborative Exchanges

Foster partnerships across institutions and countries.

ITC Conferences & Virtual Workshops

Share your work on international stages.

Skill Development

Learn new techniques in data curation, method adaptation, and cross-linguistic research.
